Walk into a police station in South Florida, trying to find out how to

If you’re stopped by the
police:
- You MUST show your driver’s
license, vehicle
registration,
and proof of insurance.
- You DO NOT have
to answer
any questions by the officer.
- You DO NOT
have to consent
to a search of your vehicle or
yourself.
- If the police say they have a
search
warrant, ask to see it -
then DO NOT interfere with
or
obstruct them in any way.
- If the police say they
have
probable cause to search you
or your
vehicle, make it clear
that you DO NOT consent to
a
search – then follow their order.
- You MUST sign a
ticket if you
are given one, you can always
